How Face Masks Work

Discover How Face Masks Actually Work To Protect You

With the highest standards of testing, we’re proud to offer our face masks as a comfortable and safe solution to protect you and your loved ones. Whilst no mask can ever be fully effective against pathogens and viruses which are airborne and minuscule in size, our masks are an important defense to have not only stop you catching an illness from someone you come into contact with, but also to stop you passing it on to vulnerable loved ones inadvertently.

We always recommend following proper practices when it comes to your health and hygiene such as washing your hands and keeping your distance from others, and of course looking after your mask properly. The CDC in America and Public Health England in the United Kingdom both state that wearing face masks is imperative to proper illness prevention against SARS-CoV-2, and many studies have shown exactly how effective masks are in creating a barrier to prevent the spread of the illness.

The Highest Standards Of Face Mask Testing

Let’s take a look at the high-quality face masks we offer, and see how the technology they integrate is helping thousands to stay safe every day. We offer two face masks currently, and both are effective against transmission. As we care strongly about the protective element of face mask wearing, you can be confident that both masks are tested to the highest standards and have received IFTH-2020-04-29-144 approval in France.

If you’re looking for a simple mask, then we have ones made from 100% cotton which are latex free. The textile used is a two layer sateen 300TC which is woven in the same way as satin but using cotton instead of satin filaments. This close weave allows you to breath normally whilst providing an effective barrier. You can enjoy this mask in a variety of colors, or the first layer can be printed with a logo.

Our second choice of mask is created with a blend of materials to create microfilaments which filter more heavily than regular masks. They are created with a mix of polyethylene terephthalate which is used in numerous applications, and polyamide which is a type of nylon. Both of these work together in multiple layers for effective protection. All of the masks are designed and created in France, a country frequently at the top of the charts for the best healthcare system in the world.
